The American Tai Chi Association
(ATCA) is a non-profit
educational organization
that safeguards Golden
Breath and its students
by ensuring the quality
of its teachers as well
as maintaining standards
of the art itself . ATCA
serves as the professional
guild of Golden Breath
American Tai Chi by holding
all instructors and students
who assist in teaching
to prescribed standards
of knowledge, integrity
and responsibility. ATCA
reaches out to educate
the public about the benefits
of Golden Breath and encourage
people to improve their
lives. ATCA’s scope
of interest has broadened
beyond just helping individuals
to helping people and organizations
that benefit others. Everyone
who has completed the first
49 movements is required
to join the association.
Membership is encouraged
upon completion of the
first three months of study
and required before any
advanced studies begin.
